These pages have not been regularily updated for a long time and I don't
see them becoming regularily updated in the near future.
When I first learned about making web pages, I thought it was pretty neat.
I had plans on making many web pages, and though I didn't make all that I
dreamed of (and I knew at the time that I might very well not), I did in
fact make a number of web pages.
Of all the web pages I've made, some of mine are the best, or nearly the
best resources on the 'net. I remember searching the web and finding
nothing better than my web pages about some video games: Gauntlet Legends
(the arcade game), PacMan 2: The New Adventures, and Fire 'N' Ice. Since
then either more web pages have sprouted up after mine (such as for
Gauntlet Legends, which I created an informative page shortly after the
original Gauntlet Legends arcade came out) and others, like Fire 'N' Ice,
have had a very small audience.
I still think it'd be neat to have lots of information on my web page,
about lots of things I'm interested in. It would be nice to have an
online autobiography. However, lots of things in life would be nice.
Making all these specified pages would take a great deal of time, and I
just don't have time to do all the things in life that I would like to do.
The main reason for that is that I have many interests, goals,
dreams, what-have-you, not to mention some responsobilities, and it's
doubtful I'll have lots of time with nothing to do anytime soon.
I've had a taste of webmastering a successful site when I got involved
with ZHQ, and I've come to the conclusion that if I'm going to spend my
time webmastering, it is probably best if I spend that time webmastering a
site that will have an audience. If I'm going to labor, I'd like people
to benefit from the fruits of my labor. I don't think many people have
benefited from the labor I've put into this site.
I have some idea what it takes to make a successful web site, and I am in
the process of creating one at HYLIA.Com. Such a web site takes quite a
bit of time to do well. I have some interest in being a webmaster, but
right now
HYLIA.Com is taking up the time that I am interested in spending
to be a webmaster of a large, successful site.
my interest in
webmastering is being fully satisfied by working HYLIA.Com to the degree
that I don't see myself spending time on another site.
Someday, HYLIA.Com may take less of my time and/or I may have more time
that I'd like to spend webmastering. If that's the case, I have some
ideas on what the site may like and such a site would require much more
time, and be of higher quality, than the time I've spent over
