MSYS Pipe Viewer Version 1

This has been put together somewhat quickly. The files are:

Note that the "try.bat" was an experimental version. It may extract numerous other files, and so it is recommended that you start with a clean directory/folder containing just the contents of the msyspv1t.zip file. After running "try.bat", you'll end up having (numerous) more files (some of which will be in sub-directories). The file may also connect to the Internet by using curl and/or wget, if it can find them.

The *.xz files may represent files with "binary"/executable data, rather than source code. The "try.bat" file has details indicating upstream sites where the *.xz files were obtained from, which were sites distributing the source code.

This collection of files was made to create a pv.exe file that worked on my Windows 10 system, and yet required less extra data than an entire Cygwin installation.

It is hoped that somebody, perhaps the person who packaged together these files, may someday make a much nicer Microsoft Windows executable file that doesn't require such large DLL files. As of the time of this writing, it has not yet been determined what sort of timetable is likely, or even just how much smaller is realistically/easily feasible.

Maybe it might even make sense to include in the awesome BusyBox for Windows project at http://frippery.org/busybox (but when I reached out the author, I did not see a response and the software has been further developed since then, so my guess is that such inclusion is not extremely likely). So, for now, this is quite separate.
