On May 26, 2004, X-Scene announced IND-Bios, a group who released a 3.4 MB teaser video which makes it appear that "flubber" is not simply a movie on your hard drive. Check out this video to learn the details the same way I did, or read on.
The INDependant (of any other software or hardware group) group meets in #ind-bios of EFNET. An X-Scene forum topic for IND-Bios was linked to. This video shows that "flubber" is an actual 3-D space. Camera control had been hacked and there are different angles of that 3-D world. Also the flubber itself had been de-textured, showing only 3-D outlines.
The video is also available on this site at whtcando/biosintr/indbios.avi .

Team Xecutor, makers of the X2 and X3 mod-chips, got involved in modifying the intro, and seems to have progress similar to IND-Bios (maybe information bewteen the groups is being shared? Or one is an inspiration for the other?) http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EplElAVuFyClUKQOqQ.php http://dwl2.xbox-scene.com/video/X3Flubber.wmv X-3's video showing their color changer. Some time is spent showing their easy-to-use interface to change the colors of the Flubber animation, and then the resulting flubber animation is shown.
July 26, 2004: X3 Flubber Fun http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EpAplyAuAyzKUZsEGk.php On Early early early August 4, X-Scene posted X3's news on flubber stating they have their own compression tools to make importing custom meshes easier. The X logo with the word Microsoft under it has been modified, and the actual plasma-energy where flubber got its name has been replaced with a 3-D object shaped like the number 3. They released a video showing this. X3 Flubber Beta3 DivX Video available from X-Scene and is also on this site at whtcando/biosintr/x3flubb3.avi .
On August 5, 2004, X-Scene posted SmartXX's first intro. See a screenshot or download the entire 4.2 MB DIVX movie file.
