If you own one game, it may be beneficial to borrow a copy of a different exploitable game so that you can back up your legitimate saved games.

Multiple of these saved games can be placed on a memory unit, especially if using XSelect 0.9 which is much smaller than using multiple copies of Evolution-X RemoteX (which is often bundled in with the hacks).

These can be obtained from the "Usual Places".

MechAssault: Original Release, not updated
I'm guessing this needs to NOT have any maps or mechs downloaded from Xbox Live! The following bullet points detail why I say this. There are different versions of MechAssault.

As far as I know, only the original release works.

You can download any one of the following packages to get the needed files to exploit MechAssault:

In theroy MechAssault is a bit nicer than some other games, because you can choose different saved games from within the game.

(James Bond) 007: Agent Under Fire (Non-Platinum Release or Early Platinum Release)

The original release of James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire works just fine. It is widely stated that the Platinum version of 007: AUF also works. However, according to a post on X-Scene.com's forums showing a graphic of multiple Platinum Hits, there is a version of 007: AUF which doesn't work. The Platinum Hits disc which does work had, at the end of the paragraph of small text bewteen the EA GAmes logo and the 007: Agent Under Fire logo, a part number of 1448517. The other disc had a part number of 1448527 at the end of the paragraph of small print, and looked a bit more washed out with white (so Bond's suit looked like a light black rather than a pure dark black), although the zoomed in section of the photo showing the part numbers looked darker on the newer disc so this might have just been a result of the photography used rather than the disc used. (It's not clear if the photo was showing both discs side by side, or if there was some cut-and-paste work of two different photos.)

It seems that perhaps the Platinum version that works may be referred to as the "2002 version" of AUF.

The saved game exploit is specifically for 007:Agent Under Fire for the Xbox, and not for other James Bond games for the Xbox (Nightfire or "Everything or Nothing"). Grab any one of the following:

007: AUF must load the game from the hard drive. Any legitimate saved games can be stored on a memory unit. Any legitimate saved games on the hard drive may or may not interfere with the saved game exploit.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

This is for the game Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, not any other game such as "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow". (I suspect the "Splinter Cell/Ghost Recon Bundle" would work though.

Note: Documentation says that for this to work, the exploiting saved game must be the only saved game Splinter Cell can access. You must be prepared to delete any valid Splinter Cell saved games to use this. (Splinter Cell owners may wish to borrow another game with an exploit so that they can back up their Splinter Cell saved game, and then deleting the saved game won't be such a bad thing.) Splinter Cell's hack says it must be the only saved game placed on the hard drive in the location where Splinter Cell looks for saved games.
